About company
Folimage is a French animation studio founded in 1981. The studio produces animation films for cinema and TV (short films, TV specials and series, feature films). In 2012, one of its films “A Cat in Paris” received a nomination for Academy Award for the Best Animated Feature Film.
Challenge
I needed to create story boards and to plan cinema production. I also wanted the mobile app to be efficient and easy-to-use to make it convenient to share the information with the team to quickly evaluate the progress in the project. I tested several apps and chose MobiDB Database Designer because it seemed the most functional and easy-to-use.
Solution
MobiDB Database Designer was very helpful. I was able to create a database for the story boards consisting of three tables with relations and nested tables. The useful features are also export to PDF and printing.
The upcoming feature
The developers promised to add multi-user support for the specified databases shortly and when it is available the app will do completely everything I need. My associates will be able to consult the database and see the progress of the project.
So, the company apps and services are just fine. Recommend it!
