One the most essential functionality of any program is user-friendly interface. Nowadays, the convenient and common interface includes ribbon toolbar – an interface where a set of toolbars are placed on tabs in a tab bar.

Perpetuum Software LLC has started the development of ribbon user interface for report designer.

Why we decided to create ribbon designer interface:

1. Ribbon toolbar now is the most up-to-date technology which is used in most programs. So, Report Sharp-Shooter designer will address all the standards of modern technology.
2. Visually appealing designer interface will considerably facilitate the work with Report Sharp-Shooter designer. Thus, our users will be able to work as they got used to in other programs.
3. Ribbon toolbar will add more flexibility to the designer thus making development easier and faster. Now, our clients will execute the actions which took some time just in a few seconds.

A new version of Report Sharp-Shooter report designer will include:

1. Ribbon user interface.
2. Ability to customize styles, skins and colors.

To offer our users comfortable work with the designer we will implement docking controls. It will be possible to drag tool windows from their current location to another location in the designer. Thus, you will be able to adjust the designer to your needs.

It will be also possible to use the older version of Report Sharp-Shooter designer, if necessary.

An alpha version of Report Sharp-Shooter ribbon interface designer will be available in April, 2010.

Instrumentation ModelKit 4.0.3.0 – a component for gauges and digital dashboards creation. A new NavigateUrl property allows the addition of hyperlink to any element. Now, you can pass to any external reference just clicking the control.

.Net ModelKit Suite 4.0.3.0 includes errors and shortcomings fixes which make the work with the product more convenient and effective.
