Silverlight Viewer for MS SQL Reporting Services Roadmap

Marketing Dept

«Proactive Support» of new technologies

Proactive support of a technology means that we provide our clients with the ready well-tested solution just after the technology is released. We keep abreast of new technologies and start the adaptation of our products in advance, as soon as the beta or CTP version is available.
Currently we can say that our products support Silverlight 5 and SQL Server 2011 (codename denali) in spite of the fact that both of them are not released.

SQL Azure Reporting complete integration

We see that clouds is a feature of web systems. So we are highly interested in integration of our components into MS Windows Azure and make them work well with SQL Azure Reporting. Currently there is no way to port current solution to Windows Azure without changes because of inability to install custom rendering extension to this service. However we are consulting with Microsoft and it seems that now we know the workaround for this issue. Hopefully Azure edition of Silverlight Viewer for SSRS will be released shortly.
