Marketing Dept

Perpetuum Software keeps its customers informed and announces the upcoming release of Silverlight Viewer for Reporting Services.

Perpetuum Software Help Center

Today, Silverlight Viewer for Reporting Services is the only easy-to-use tool for quick integration of SQL Server Reporting Services and Silverlight. The product allows the display of Reporting Services reports in Silverlight applications.

A new release of this Silverlight report viewer aimed at increasing the product usability and convenience in use. We added:

  • Reporting services templates for Visual Studio 2008 and 2010 integration.
  • Display of page thumbnails as in Acrobat Reader.
  • A new “Select all” option which allows the checking of all parameters values with a single mouse click.

We fixed:

  • Horizontal data alignment in a table and alignment of the TextBox element in case the date format is set.
  • Ability to configure WCF-timeouts to avoid “timeout expired” errors during big reports rendering.
  • Null-value parameter handling.

A new release of Silverlight Viewer for Reporting Services will be available in September, 2010.

Evaluate this unique component for working with Reporting Services reports in Silverlight.
